SALES ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

STUDIOCHIC, a Home Decor Company based in Los Angeles, CA is looking to recruit a full-time, experienced in-house sales account executive who can assist in growing our mass-market, big box and close-out retail business.We are looking for someone who is polished, smart, energetic, and customer-service oriented who will add value to our company.You will act as the liaison between headquarters and the account. You will be responsible for generating leads, establishing new accounts and managing existing accounts to achieve sales goals. The ideal candidate would have prior sales management experience and knowledge of selling to tier 1 mass market and/or close-out retailers, or previous experience as a buyer among such retailers. Ultimately, you should contribute to an increase in incremental sales and maintain client relationships at a high standard.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify, prospect and grow relationships with national and regional retail accounts through targeted industry research, website monitoring, cold-calling and emailing prospective clients

  • Collaborate on building best-in-class presentations

  • Organize samples and materials for sales presentations• Manage trade show planning including preparation, showroom setup and breakdown, and customer invitations and meetings

  • Travel to customers for sales presentations

  • Serve as the customer's point of contact, working closely with the customer to gain insights into business pains and opportunities

  • Execute new item and account paperwork

  • Track and analyze all sales activities; have curiosity and courage to innovate ways to win business!

  • Excellent relationship-building, communication and presentation skills

  • Strong organizational skills to perform, prioritize and follow through multiple tasks seamlessly• Highly developed attention to detail

  • Ability to break down numbers and data in a meaningful way for management and buyer

  • Able to attend/work at designated key industry trade shows

  • Highly self-motivated with a strong ability to manage up and create reporting and tracking tools

  • Understanding customer relationship process and flow

  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically as needed

 REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years' experience in sales or buyer of home decor products with a large national retailer

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field

 


 

SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR

An ideal candidate will have demonstratable prior social media management experience and a solid understanding of all mainstream social platforms in order to execute our social media campaigns. Candidate should be PASSIONATE ABOUT HOME DÉCOR AND INTERIOR DESIGN to really speak to our followers, influencers and peers in the industry.  Prior experience working with home décor an absolute plus. Must be able to stage and photograph product.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage our existing profile on Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook by way of daily posts and engagement

  • Maintain brand voice across all social platforms and tailor postings to each platform as needed

  • Create editorial calendars, traffic reports

  • Engage with industry tastemakers, influencers, brands and retailers to gain followers or reposts

  • Stage and Photograph product; write short succinct copy

  • Grow account followers as well as engage existing audience

  • Advise on and execute new strategy/promotional tactics (i.e. sweepstakes or promotional posts to gain more followers or gain awareness)

 

 REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or college student obtaining degree

  • A passion for home décor, interior design and social media

  • A strong knowledge and experience on current social media platforms 

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • An eye for photography and composition
